New

Build your own plan

Pick any combination of AI models, how often each one refreshes, and how many prompts and domains you need. The price updates instantly and uses the same pricing math as Starter, Growth and Scale. Available at checkout and in Settings → Billing.

New

Sources page: domain and citation types

The Sources page now breaks citations down by domain type (corporate, news, community, social, academic and more) and by citation type (blog article, documentation, listicle, directory and more).

New

Brand Presence in Citations

Two new Sources stats, Mention Share and Brand Mentions, show how often AI answers cite pages that actually mention your brand.

Improved

More honest AI answers

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude now answer your tracked questions the way a real user would see them, with no knowledge of your brand. Your brand is scored afterwards, so answers are no longer biased towards you. Citations now come straight from each model's own search results.

Fixed

Citation accuracy fix

A citation could be marked as mentioning your brand when the cited page never named it. We now check the real page before marking a mention.

Fixed

Sign-up checkout fix

Brand-new accounts could not complete checkout during onboarding. Fixed.

Fixed

Cleaner answers and source charts

Removed stray internal citation markers from Perplexity answers, fixed the top-domains chart showing a Google redirect address instead of the real publisher, and stopped topic suggestions repeating the same sources text.

Improved

Competitors discovered automatically

Brands that appear in your AI answers are now picked up as competitors automatically, so your competitor list reflects what AI actually says.

Fixed

Logging out clears onboarding data

Signing in to a different account on the same browser no longer shows the previous account's onboarding progress.

New

Discover: new questions to track

A new Discover tab in Optimize suggests new questions worth tracking, based on the gaps in the sources AI already cites. Each suggestion shows its evidence and can be added as a tracked prompt in one click.

New

Competitor Comparison

Compare yourself against any competitor head to head: how AI frames each of you, and a win/loss breakdown for each prompt.

Improved

Darker, tidier sidebar

The left sidebar is now permanently dark. Menu items are easier to click and the Settings menu closes properly when you navigate.

Fixed

Team permissions tightened

Only the account owner can invite, change roles for, or remove team members. Invited users now land on the dashboard correctly after accepting an invite.

Fixed

Data consistency fixes

Prompt Detail, Prompts and Topics now show the freshest result across all your models, so a prompt can no longer look mentioned on one page and not mentioned on another. Competitor visibility now uses real measured results and is labeled as an estimate until data exists.

New

MCP server and API tokens

Connect Claude, Cursor and other AI tools directly to your LiveMentions data. Create and revoke personal access tokens in the new MCP / API tab in Settings. Available on paid plans.

New

Slack alerts

Connect Slack from Settings → Integrations to receive your LiveMentions alerts in a channel.

New

Notification preferences

Choose which alerts you get by email or Slack. Automated alert emails are also limited to at most one per person per day.

New

Recommendation Impact Tracking

When you mark an Optimize recommendation as done, LiveMentions compares your visibility before and after and shows the change.

New

AI Content Agents

Generate a ready-to-edit draft (such as an FAQ) for a recommendation directly from Optimize, and regenerate it any time.

Improved

Wider technical checks

Optimize now checks more AI-crawler rules in your robots.txt and compares headings between the server-rendered page and the JavaScript version.

Fixed

Security fixes

Closed an issue where one account could edit another account's prompts, topics or competitors, and ensured suspended accounts lose API and MCP access.

New

Optimize rebuilt: Brand Profile, Citation Gaps, Opportunities

Optimize now builds a Brand Intelligence Profile you can edit, finds the sources AI cites for competitors but not for you, and turns them into prioritized opportunities, including a better Reddit engagement flow.

Improved

"No change since" badge

When an AI answer hasn't changed since the last check, you now see a clear badge instead of a repeated answer.

New

Lifecycle emails

A full set of onboarding, trial and account emails, such as welcome, trial reminders and verification code reminders, now go out automatically.

Improved

Faster, cheaper tracking

Tracking is now more efficient behind the scenes, with no change to the data you see.

New

Change plans in place

Upgrading or downgrading now changes your existing subscription with a clear charge or credit preview, instead of creating a second subscription.

Fixed

No second free trial

Accounts that already had free access are no longer given a second free trial when they subscribe.

New

Brand Intelligence Profile

Optimize now builds a profile of your brand to ground its recommendations in who you actually are.

Improved

Clearer trial limits

Onboarding now explains your trial's limits, and Topics and Prompts show your plan usage.

Fixed

Onboarding fixes

Topic and prompt limits during onboarding now match what the system accepts, and long citation URLs on the prompt page no longer overflow or look suspicious.

Fixed

More credible Optimize recommendations

Fixed several credibility issues in Optimize recommendations, and fixed content plans being cut off midway.

Improved

Help Centre link

The Help Centre now opens from the account menu in a new tab.

Improved

New plan pricing

Starter, Growth and Scale were repriced, and yearly billing now shows the rounded monthly equivalent instead of one large yearly total.

Improved

Optimize recommendations rebuilt

Recommendations now share one unified format, refresh on a regular cycle, and Optimize has a rebuilt page to match.

Improved

Clear upgrade prompts

When a trial or subscription blocks an action, you now see a specific reason and an upgrade option. Expired beta accounts see the same banner as an ended trial.

Improved

Beta access expires after 30 days

Beta access now ends automatically after 30 days.

Fixed

Profile and sidebar fixes

Profile edits now show in the sidebar and survive a refresh, and long emails no longer overflow the account card.

New

Dashboard Models and Date range filters

Filter your whole dashboard by AI model and by date range. Models your plan doesn't include are shown as locked.

New

Optimize Actions board

Recommendations are now grouped into tabs by area, and Optimize adds Listings, Backlinks and Video pillars, content ideas and Reddit opportunities.

New

Profile pictures

Upload a profile picture and crop or zoom it before saving.

New

Team invite page

Invited teammates now land on a dedicated page where they can sign up or log in to join.

Improved

Mobile and typography polish

Improved mobile navigation, spacing and type sizes across the app, plus loading skeletons on dashboard pages.

Fixed

Checkout and onboarding fixes

Fixed checkout getting stuck after closing the payment window, redirect loops after sign-up, and the dashboard tracking only ChatGPT instead of every model your plan includes.
