What does LiveMentions track for my store?
It asks the questions your customers ask AI, on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude depending on your plan, reads each answer for your store name and your website link, and shows the latest answer for every question. It shows which competitors and websites AI relies on instead of you, checks every live product for AI readiness, shows which AI bots your store lets in and gives you a short list of fixes. You can print a report or export any list as CSV, Excel or JSON.
Does the app change my store or my theme?
No. It has read-only access to your products and your store name and address. It adds no code to your storefront and cannot edit a product, an order or a theme.
Do I need a card to start?
No. The free plan needs no card. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and paid plans are billed by Shopify.
How am I billed, and how do I change plan?
Everything goes through Shopify. The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice, and you pick, change or cancel a plan from your Shopify admin. LiveMentions never takes a payment itself.
Which AI engines does each plan use?
Free uses ChatGPT when you press refresh. Lite adds Perplexity, Starter adds Gemini, and Growth and Growth Plus add Claude. ChatGPT runs every day on every paid plan.
How many prompts can I track?
Free tracks 5 prompts, Lite 8, Starter 20, Growth 50 and Growth Plus 100. A prompt is one shopper question, and it is answered on every engine your plan includes.
How is this different from the readiness checks Shopify already gives me?
Shopify’s tools look at whether your store is set up for AI. LiveMentions adds the measurement: what AI actually says when a shopper asks, and which engines name your store.
What happens when I uninstall?
Tracking stops at once and your store’s data is erased, in line with Shopify’s rules.
Can I use LiveMentions if my site is not on Shopify?
