How the gap score works

The gap score is the number of times a source was used in your chosen date range where the page does not name your brand. A website or page with a high gap score is one that AI keeps relying on without you in it.

The parts

The table shows the parts of the score: Uses, and the share of those uses where the page names your brand. A page you are named on does not add to the gap.

Competitor gap

The competitor gap is the number of uses multiplied by the number of your tracked competitors named on a page that does not name your brand. It points to pages where AI sees several competitors and not you.

What is left out

Your own website is left out of the gap lists and counted as Your website cited. A page that could not be read never counts as a gap.

Sorting
