Understanding Your Data

Dashboard metrics explained

Here is exactly what each number on your Dashboard means.

Visibility Score

The average, across all your tracked prompts, of how strongly your brand showed up in each prompt most recent AI answer. It is not just mentioned or not, it reflects how prominent and central your brand was in the answer.

Share of Voice

Of all the brand mentions in an AI answer, you plus every competitor that showed up, what percentage were yours, averaged across your tracked prompts. A higher Share of Voice means you are taking up more of the airtime relative to competitors, not just appearing at all.

Used as a Source

Of every link or citation AI included across your tracked answers, what percentage pointed to your own website. This tells you how often your own content is the thing AI is actually reading and citing, separate from whether your brand name was mentioned.

Position

Your average rank, where 1 is best, compared to competitors, within the answers where your brand actually appeared. Lower is better. Position 1 means you were typically the top brand mentioned.

Sentiment

How favorably AI answers frame your brand overall, shown as Positive, Neutral, or Negative. This is based on how you are mentioned, recommended as the best option, listed as one of several, mentioned only in passing, or raised as a concern, rather than the literal words used. See Sentiment and framing explained for the full breakdown.

Brand Visibility trend chart

A real day by day line showing your Visibility Score over your selected date range, built from actual recorded AI runs, not projected or estimated.

Brand Presence comparison

A ranked table listing your brand alongside your tracked, and organically mentioned, competitors, sorted by visibility, showing how many of your tracked prompts each one appeared in.

Recent Answers

The most recently updated prompts, with which AI model answered, a preview of the answer, and whether your brand appeared, a fast way to read real, current AI output without digging into individual prompts.

If a metric looks empty

A brand new project can take a couple of minutes for its first results to come in. The dashboard will show a short setting up state and refresh automatically. If you have filtered to a specific AI model, remember Gemini and Claude run less frequently than ChatGPT and Perplexity, see How tracking works, so an empty filtered view is not necessarily a problem.
