What Saba remembers
Saba keeps short notes about what you are working on and how you word things, so you do not have to explain it every time. For example: "Reviewing Perplexity and Gemini this month" or "Main competitor is Kirki". It remembers your focus, never your data: numbers are looked up fresh every time.
What a note is
- A short sentence in plain words, written only from what you typed to Saba.
- Notes are personal: teammates have their own, and nobody else sees yours.
- They are kept per project.
- A note fades after 90 days unless you pin it.
- When a note shapes an answer, the answer says "Using your note:".
See and change your notes
Open What Saba remembers from the memory icon in the question box. There you can add a note, edit one, pin one so it never fades, delete one, or clear them all. Saba shows "Saba updated its memory" under an answer when it has just added or changed a note.
Turn memory off or pause it
The memory icon in the question box has three choices:
- On. Saba uses your notes and adds new ones from what you type. This is the default.
- Paused. Your notes are kept, but Saba does not use or add any, in every chat of the project.
- Off for this chat. Saba does not use or add notes in this one chat. Choose it before the first message; a chat keeps the choice it started with.
What is never remembered
Numbers, links, passwords or keys, instructions to Saba, and claims about your account or data. Those are turned away.
