Projects, Topics and Prompts

Projects: tracking a brand or domain

A project represents one brand and domain you are tracking in LiveMentions. Everything else, topics, prompts, competitors, results, belongs to a project.

Most accounts only need one project. If you manage AI visibility for multiple brands or clients, you can track each as its own project, up to the limit on your plan.

Adding a project

  1. Go to Settings, then Projects, or use Add new project from the top of the sidebar.
  2. Enter a project name, the domain, and the country to focus on.
  3. Click Add.

Right after creating a project, you will be guided through picking topics and prompts for it, the same way you did during onboarding.

If you are at your plan project limit, you will be prompted to upgrade instead of seeing the add project form. See Plans and pricing overview.

Editing a project

From Settings, then Projects, open a project action menu and choose Edit. You can update the name and country.

The domain cannot be changed after a project is created. All of its tracking history is tied to that domain. If you need to track a different domain, create a new project.

Deleting a project

Deleting a project permanently removes all of its topics, prompts, and tracking history, along with its knowledge base and any files you uploaded to it. To delete one, open the project action menu and choose Delete, type the exact project name to confirm, and click Delete.

This cannot be undone.
