Privacy and security
Your brand data is yours. LiveMentions is built to keep it protected.
How your data is protected
- Encrypted connections. Everything between your browser, the LiveMentions dashboard and the servers travels over encrypted HTTPS connections, and the connection to the database is encrypted as well.
- Passwords are never stored as you typed them. They are protected with a one-way hash, so even the team cannot read them.
- Protected sign-in. Sign-in forms are protected against automated attacks, repeated attempts are limited, and sessions use secure, protected cookies.
- Sensitive credentials are encrypted before they are saved, for example the settings you connect for integrations.
- Payments are handled by Paddle. Card details never pass through LiveMentions.
- Access by role. Teammates only see what their role allows.
What LiveMentions does with your data
- LiveMentions collects the data it needs to run your account and track your brand, and uses it for that purpose.
- Your data is never sold, and it is not shared with anyone for their own purposes. The details are in the Privacy Policy, in the section on data sharing.
- Your data is stored on secure servers and a managed database.
Your control
- Delete a project in the app at any time.
- Email [email protected] to have your account and data deleted.
